Anxiety is the most common negative emotion. Anxiety works for us in small doses whereby helping you be more aware of emerging problems. In contrast, in high doses anxiety is debilitating impairing quality of life, shutting you down, making it hard to focus, be productive or remember. I can help.

The expression of anxiety takes many forms. Some people withdraw. Others become extremely nervous and irritable. Often, there is agitation and insomnia making you feel exhausted.

Sometimes, anxiety has a clear source or precipitant and other times it is more "free floating." How to make sense of these feelings requires a trained professional with experience weighing these matters. In fact, the treatment of anxiety is one of my specialties addressed in a time-limited manner. I can help.
