Dr. Daitzman’s

Payment Information

Payments Accepted at time of service:

  • Cash

  • Personal Check

  • Select Insurances (see below). I am an out-of-network provider, but most out-of-network providers pay almost as much as in-network providers.

My experience, writings, professional positions, credentials (licenses, multiple certifications, academia, books and honors) determines my hourly fee outlined in my “Office Policy” that you receive at the first session.

My treatment is highly focused, short term and cognitive behavioral, a type of short term focused therapy. I am pragmatic and solution oriented. The first session, paid, is for us to meet. I will listen to your situation and provide concrete feedback. You are, of course, under no obligation to continue.

In your inquiry, if all you want is the information, “Do you take “X” insurance?” the answer is a qualified “Yes.”

I am an out-of-network licensed clinical psychologist. I do no I do NOT accept Medicare or Husky State Insurance. Most of my clients are reimbursed, but you have to pay me up at time of service, as is increasingly usual and customary. Every plan is different, and changes. Given that I am out of network, there is no copay.

Note: I am a psychologist (Ph.D.) and not a psychiatrist (M.D.). I cannot prescribe medication. I work with psychiatrists who can, if appropriate, prescribe.

I make my own appointments, and I am flexible as to times. I am available via text smartphone messages discussed at the first session.
